Mike Hobbs sadly passed away last week following a brief illness. The relationship between Mike Hobbs and the Club has been deeply intertwined for many years and his contribution to the Club will be greatly missed. Whether as a player, umpire, coach or groundsman, he has played a substantial role in sustaining the game that we all love here on Warborough Green. The funeral will be held at St Laurence Church on Thursday 22nd March at 1:30pm. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cricket Without Boundaries and the Injured Jockeys Fund. Our thoughts and sympathy are offered to Janet, James and Andy at this difficult time. A full obituary can be found on page 2 of this week's Wallingford Herald. |
