Tonight's brand-new episode of Midsomer Murders ("The Sleeper under the Hill" - 8pm - ITV1) is partially shot on and around Warborough Green - and is rumoured to include footage of the Club's vintage roller performing pre-season duties on the square. |

Wednesday 8th December 2010A painting by Jack Russell MBE FRSA
Prints of Jack Russell's painting of the match between the 1st XI and the Buccaneers that took place on Sunday 12th September are now available for purchase. The unframed print measures approximately 30 inches by 15 inches, and can be viewed here. The price of each print is £100, and the artist will be donating 30% of the proceeds to the Cricket Club. Mobile Cricket Nets for the Green
At the request of Warborough Parish Council, the Cricket Club have undertaken research into options for providing a permanent artificial cricket-net surface with mobile net-cages. A report was presented to the Parish Council ahead of its December meeting last Wednesday. The report, which includes conclusions and a proposal of how the Cricket Club and Parish Council might proceed such that the facility will be available before the start of the 2011 season, is available here. |
